      Note

From the sale of land in 1817 it seems Neil Campbell did not die immediately after Waterloo but it seems strange that his grandson thought he did.

      Note

Archibald died on the 15th March 1875, Christina died on the 26th March 1899. Brigadier-General William MacLaren Campbell CBE, MVO (6th March 1864 - 7th June 1924) married Dorothy Clothilda Lang and they had a daughter Ann Elspeth, born 16th August 1917: she married Prince Alexander George Croy in Austria, 17th February 1938.
