Contains inserted pages of handwritten notes, and several loose pieces of correspondence. The printed text is on outlined history of the Campbells of Barbreck, with many additional notes in several hands, including the 10th Duke. Bookplate "David E Davy". Flyleaf annotated "Colin Campbell, Dunstaffnage, Ardrossan, 1930". Loose contents: 1. Letter dated September 1940, Colin Campbell to the 10th Duke. 2. Letter (four leaves) in a difficult hand, containing text appearing in the printed book and connections with the Campbells of Inverliever. 3. Photographs (3 off) of members of the Campbells of Barbreck family, annotated CC (Colin Campbell) and dated September 1931. 4. Letter by Herbert Campbell to his sister Helen, dated 13th July 1913, annotated on the back "Mr H Campbell, Kyrenia, Cyprus, [died] 28th Oct 1931 aged 56 years, 2nd son of William H Campbell, R.I.P."
