This citation gives interesting genealogical details of the family of Joshua Boyle, surgeon in Stair's Horse, and his wife Agnes Stewart (see CG/004 (ALC 16)).

Donald Campbell, tacksman of Kenuachtrach, was an uncle of Duncan Campbell of Glendaruel (died 1814), he appears in LG as the grandfather of Captain Neil Campbell. According to LG Colin died in 1779, Herbert Campbell's "Pedigrees" say 1799, so this is further proof he was alive in 1785.

Christina Kelburn married Duncan Campbell in 1784 and he married his second wife Helen Campbell in 1799, from the shaky hand of Christy's signature she was near death in 1793.

There is no date on the Warden and McAusland Response, but Mrs Lillias Campbell succeeded her brother Duncan on the 19th January 1814 and died 27th August 1820: the McAusland and Warden family connection obviously continued after this event.
